I have always believed that an engagement ring carries more than a promise.
It carries a specific kind of seeing. The way someone looked at you and knew, with certainty, that this is the person I am building my life with. That understanding should have somewhere to live. Something you can touch.
AREK Bridal was born from that belief. For the moment when convention is not enough. When the person in front of you is too specific, too entirely themselves, to be given something ordinary.
Lucine is the first of our bridal collection. It will not be the last.
— Carolina Mesrop, Founder
AREK takes its name from Carolina's grandmother. In Armenian, it translates to “the sun”, a fitting name for the woman whose warmth, light, and presence inspired the brand itself.
Lucine is the moon.
The moon does not create its own light. It receives the sun's light and returns it transformed. Softer. More intimate. In many ways, Lucine was always born from Arek. The sun gave rise to the moon.
The Asscher cut was the only choice for a ring bearing that name. It draws the light inward, its stepped facets creating depth, reflection, and architectural beauty.
Framed by brilliant diamonds and elevated above a split pavé band, Lucine was designed to feel luminous from within.
The most meaningful rings are often the ones that could only belong to one person.
A different stone. A different proportion. A detail that makes sense only because of the life it is meant to represent.
If you arrive here knowing your ring needs to be something entirely your own, we would love to build it with you.
Whether you begin with a stone, a sketch, or simply a feeling you cannot yet put into words, every bespoke AREK engagement ring starts in the same place: understanding who it is for.
Bring what you are imagining. The conversation begins here.
